Sinopsis / Comentarios
Robin Williams es Bob Munro, un padre de familia que le jura amistad eterna a su hijita al despedirse una noche. Algunos años después, la hija, Cassie (JoJo), no quiere ni hablarle. Al hijo menor, Carl (Josh Hutcherson), le disgusta que le interrumpan su audiciones de rap y hip-hop. Y a su esposa, Jamie (Cheryl Hines), ni se atreve a decirle que ha habido un cambio de planes para las vacaciones. El hecho es que Bob teme que lo despidan del trabajo para promover a un empleado más joven y cancela las esperadas vacaciones en Hawaii. A cambio, alquila un RV, un inmenso vehículo de recreación, para un paseo por las montañas rocosas. A nadie le hace gracia, así que para Bob comienza una verdadera pesadilla, mientras oculta la verdadera razón del cambio: una reunión para comprar una pequeña y exitosa empresa... en las montañas.
